Kalyn Knode

Impact

 We met by accident.

Someone rear-ended me on my way to work. “My poor car! Brand new and now this.” In the shop. I circle the car with the owner, checking the damage.

Then I see him.

His back to me, searching through a tool box. He pulls out a wrench then turns as we approach. Just a smile and

I can’t take my eyes off of him. He just stares back. Someone begins to speak but I can’t hear a word.
